About Kerry Lammi
Throughout my childhood and youth, I wanted to be an artist; I loved dreaming, drawing, and visualizing what could be. This eventually led me to pursue my calling with art and graphic design at Bemidji State, in Bemidji, Minnesota, and then later a graduate degree in photojournalism from Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

I have been in the field of visual communication and graphic design for almost forty years, advertising (branding), print production and photography. My desire is to communicate through storytelling with design and photography.

I love the tangible, something to hold, touch and feel and evoke emotion. That is why I prefer the printed piece—texture, something to touch, smell and feel. Photographs are not just a likeness of a person—there is personality, feeling, a story. My style is documentary with an end goal of visual peacemaking. Throughout all cultures there is thread of common humanity to be seen and discovered.

I dream, think and live visually—The world is finally catching up to me. I am excited for the future and the area of visual communication and the uniqueness of its possibilities.
